The EFRW (End Fed Random Wire) Bugout Mini Antenna is designed and built for portable operations, such as POTA, SOTA, EMCOMM, etc. With only 53 feet of wire you can tune 160 meters to 6 meters with any built-in or external tuner. 160 meters is a little tough to make contacts with such a short wire but it is possible. For full 160 meter contacts please use 124.5 feet of antenna wire.

With a 9:1 transformer this random wire antenna requires a tuner to use.
