Absolutely solid performer. I ordered from Matt a couple of weeks before my trip to Samoa. Arrived in New Zealand in a week. The antenna itself is well made, rugged, and the wire is super strong. I used it qrp, and made over 140 qso's (it was a holiday style activation), mostly on 3 w. The only continent I didn't work was Africa. The setup itself is light and given the power rating, very small. I have no hesitation in recommending the Bugout XL. Though tuned for the cw end of 40, 20, 15 and 10, it worked fine on other bands with my Elecraft ATU. Great work Matt
